Announcement – Round 2 of the jDeGBS-Mentoring-Program
Last year we have initiated the first round of a jDeGBS Mentoring Program with in total 7 mentor/mentee tandems.
Below are some of the comments we have received from them in response to our evaluation survey:
- Very friendly, pleasant mentor with whom I feel I can ask any questions. The organizers have made a great effort to find a suitable mentor for me, thank you very much for that.
- I like that the program is organized by young investigators based on actual needs of other young investigators.
- Honest advice and coaching in a difficult time.
- I liked the initiative and was happy to see motivated and interested mentees.
- Sincere thanks to jDeGBS team for this program. And a great appreciation to my mentor.
- Very good initiative that should go on!
Due to this positive feedback of the first round of our jDeGBS mentoring program, we are very pleased to announce a second round that will start in June 2022.
Motivated applicants (mentees and mentors) can apply until 15.04.2022 via the forms on the website. Tandems who wish to maintain the mentor-mentee relationship beyond the first round, please also message us until 15.04.2022
As an additional offer, we will continue our peer-consulting group with networking and collaboration opportunities on slack as an independent platform enabling easy exchange and discussions among the participants. This platform is open to all interested young scientists. If you would like to join the peer-consulting groups and benefit from the possibilities of this platform, please do not hesitate and contact us! We will gladly welcome you into the group!
