Thank you very much for submitting your abstract to the 2025 Annual Meeting of the German Society for Biological Radiation Research (DeGBS) in Munich!
We are pleased to inform you that all accepted abstracts may be published as a supplement in BMC Radiation Oncology (https://ro-journal.biomedcentral.com/, IF 2023: 3.3) — at no additional cost to you as the author.
To enable publication, we require the consent of the corresponding author and a harmonized abstract layout. If you agree to have your abstract published (planned for October 1, 2025), please follow these steps:
- Download the BMC Radiation Oncology abstract template from the conference homepage here: -> abstract template.
- Transfer your accepted abstract into the template.
- Email the completed Word file to the conference address by May 31st, 2025.
In your email, please include the following statement:
“I agree to the publication of the DeGBS2025 abstract titled ‘[Title]’ by [Authors] in Radiation Oncology. I confirm that all co-authors are aware that the abstract has been accepted for presentation at the conference and that it will be submitted for open-access supplement publication in Radiation Oncology.”
If your research involves human subjects or animals, please ensure appropriate ethical approval has been obtained. Include the ethics approval statement after the acknowledgements in your abstract, if applicable.
Please note that abstracts for which we do not receive a response by May 31st, 2025 will not be included in the publication. This deadline is final due to the journal’s production schedule for the October 1st publication date.
